Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina is a nonprofit organization that builds pathways to prosperity by offering tuition-free job training programs, skill-building workshops, career development opportunities, job search support, and more – helping thousands of community and team members each year find gainful employment, grow their careers, and achieve brighter futures.

Tiffany Foster, Director of Community & Workforce Development

South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation provides services to help individuals with disabilities prepare for, find, and maintain employment. They offer career counseling, job training, and support programs designed to match people’s skills and interests with meaningful work opportunities.

By partnering with employers and community organizations, they help clients build independence and achieve their career goals, while also strengthening the state’s workforce and economy.

The Barbara Stone Foundation in South Carolina is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and fostering inclusion in the community. Through grants, programs, and partnerships, the foundation supports initiatives that promote accessibility, independence, and opportunities for people with special needs. By collaborating with local organizations and advocating for positive change, the Barbara Stone Foundation works to create a more inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

Through education, peer support, and systemic change initiatives, ABLE South Carolina works to break down barriers, promote accessibility, and create a culture where people with disabilities can thrive on their own terms.

The organization offers a variety of services, including residential programs, day services, employment support, and community engagement opportunities, all designed to promote independence and enhance quality of life. With a mission to help individuals reach their full potential, Thrive Upstate fosters inclusion, self-sufficiency, and meaningful participation in the community.
